I have a managing agent that had an agreement with a client before a HUD refinance whereby the managing agent charged the project travel expenses. I have reviewed the HUD Managing Agent handbook and it appears to be allowable but may need HUD approval. |

From Les Sparks: Well you have read the Handbook. Maybe needing HUD approval is not a “requires HUD approval”. I believe it would depend on how much and for what. Site specific should not require much travel. Regional managers should not charge travel as they are not front-line employees. SO, it all comes down to who and how much. |
