With the phase out of the HUD-1’s has HUD issued any new guidance on the examination of the loan files for compliance purposes? |

From Mike Olsen: There was a new handbook (Handbook 4000.1, FHA Single Family Housing Policy Handbook) issued in March 2015. Section or Chapter I, Doing Business with FHA and Section or Chapter V, Quality Control, Oversight and Compliance, became effective September 14, 2015. The Quality Control section discusses Loan File Compliance Reviews. Although nothing has come out discussing the new forms, the compliance requirements would remain the same. |
