We see in the REAC UFRS document that has been posted that the audit report must be issued prior to the electronic submission, which is leading me to believe that using the FASSUB printouts would be inappropriate, but some of our partners feel that since we do drafts of both and the client approves them simultaneously, that using the printout is ok because the report is being finalized at the same time as the submission is being done. We’d just like some clarification so that we can make a decision on how to proceed with our 6/30 audits that are underway. |

From Les Sparks: Many people use the print out. There is no requirement to “Issue” the basic statements first, regardless of what the COA document says. Everyone issues all reports in the same day. Basically the audit report is issued prior to this and all you are doing is substituting the other “supplemental data” for another copy of the supplemental data. |
