Good morning

Has AHACPA issued any guidance or input on adopting ASU 326 for HUD properties?

Les Sparks

Cindy, the consensus is that ASU 326 has minimal impact on multifamily properties. The exception would be anyone with significant A/R balances. We see very few impacts from those entities.

The majority of projects are simply disclosing some adoption footnote and indicating a very minimal impact.

Thank you for the input!  That is what we thought as well.  Although, I do have one property that does have a rather significant tenant A/R at year end.  We will follow the guidance under 326 accordingly.

Again, thank you.
