The session will focus on current policies changes as well as technology and other compliance initiatives. Presented by Vinay Singh, Chief Financial Officer - HUD
- Session 2 - HUD Audit Findings and Their Impact on the Revised Distribution Methodology Under Mortgagee Letter 2022-16
This session will attempt to provide guidance on interpreting the guidance on monthly distributions outlined in Mortgagee Letter 2022-16. In particular, we will be exploring the preconditions to monthly distributions and how we believe HUD will treat these contracts. Presented by Scott Loveday
- Session 3 - Emerging Accounting and Auditing Issues
We will be discussing the upcoming implementation of a Suite of revised audit standards including SAS 145 as well as increased requirements on internal control as well as other GAAP related changes. Presented by Kelly Perlman & Sara Farina

Les will be discussing the impact of recent QASS reviews on testing strategies of Single Audits Presented by Les Sparks

- Session 6 - Navigating Multifamily Audits and Common QCR Findings
This session will consist of an update on current QASS Quality Control Reviews as well as a discussion of the insights into how to navigate Multifamily compliance audits. Presented by Darius Miknaitis & James Thompson
- Session 7 - Changes to the Management of Section 8 and PRAC contracts due to HOTMA and NSpire
The session will be covering the recent Housing Notices on the implementation of the Housing Opportunities Through Modernization Act of 2016 and the current changes to inspection protocols under NSPIRE. Presented by Ari Rubenfeld & Les Sparks
- Session 8 - 2023 HUD Program Changes and Their Impact on Audit Testing
Peter will be discussing changes to the HUD Audit Guide procedures outlined in Housing Notices 2023-03 and Housing Notice 2023-07. He will also be discussing updates to other testing procedures in other sections of the Guide. Presented by Peter Bell
