►	Envisioning a New Audit Guide - With the HUD CFO's office signaling a willingness to address revisions to the HUD Audit Guide, we will take this opportunity to examine possible solutions to key audit areas. Marjorie will add her substantial experience to this discussion. New opportunities for auditing may include technology changes and other current issues related to project operations. ►	Single Audit Update - This session will contain a brief overview of the Single Audit process. We will then review the significant changes to the Compliance Supplements related to HUD multifamily audits. Presented by: Les Sparks
►	Section 232 Update - Les will be joined by Jenice Saint to discuss reporting and auditing issues related to the 232 program. This is especially relevant due to the amount of projects in a troubled or potentially troubled state. Presented by: Jenice Saint - Director of Accounting for Affiliated Entities, Life Care Centers of America Inc. and Les Sparks
►	iREMS - What can go wrong? - Kathy will present the results of a training course provided to REAC personnel regarding issues REAC Multifamily electronic filers experience as a result of iREMS inaccuracies. Possible solutions will be discussed. Presented by: Kathy Christensen, Manager - AHACPA

►	Tenant Files, HOTMA, and NSPIRE - Ari and Les will address the current status of HOTMA and NSPIRE and their impact on tenant file testing. Presented by: Ari Rubinfeld, President - ARO Resources and Les Sparks
►	2025 Audit Update - This session will focus on changes to Yellow Book and AICPA requirements related to Quality Management as well as discussing issues raised by peer reviewers and possible solutions. Presented by: Les Sparks
►	REAC Review Process - Exploring how REAC Analyzes Audited Financial Statement Submissions - Peter will be discussing the lessons learned from our recent REAC training. Presented by: Peter Bell - Peter B. Bell, CPA, LLC
►	Q & A - This session will be used to address all remaining questions from the audience that have not been previously answered or discussed. Presented by Panel

Multifamily Subjects

HUD 101:

Individuals new to the Multifamily HUD audit area. Prerequisites: Attendees should have an understanding of audits, workpaper documentation and general testing strategies.

Multifamily Update & Multifamily Conference:

Auditors, owners & managers of HUD-subsidized multifamily properties. Prerequisites: A basic knowledge of HUD audits is recommended.

Multifamily Tenant Files:

Auditors of Section 8 projects as well as management company personnel. Prerequisites: A basic understanding of HUD programs is recommended.

Section 232 Projects:

Auditors, owners & managers of Section 232 Leased Nursing Homes. Prerequisites: A basic knowledge of HUD audits and knowledge of the Section 232 program is recommended.

Single Audit Update:

Auditors, owners & managers of HUD-subsidized multifamily properties. Prerequisites: A basic knowledge of HUD audits is recommended.

Multifamily Cost Certification:

Auditors, owners, & managers of HUD Multifamily properties. Prerequisites: A basic knowledge of HUD audits is recommended.

Attendance Monitoring for Webinars

AHACPA uses a variety of methods to monitor participant engagement and attendance.

Tracking for Individuals: Attendance is tracked via the Conferences i/o application at https://ahacpa.cnf.io

To provide attendees with a method to verify attendance we randomly display 3-digit passcodes on the webinar screen. Attendees must keep track of these codes. For full credit they must provide us with 3 codes per credit hour. Codes can be provided by entering them directly into the Conferences i/o application, or by emailing a list of the codes to our staff.

Attendees must also check in and check out at the beginning and end of the course. A time stamp is recorded by the Conferences i/o application when attendees check in and check out.

Tracking for Groups: In situations where small groups view a course together, it is not necessary for the individuals in the small group to respond to the polling questions individually. The person logged into the program may respond to the polling question on behalf of the group. However, there must be an individual in the group monitoring active participation. A form will be provided to group for tracking purposes. This form must be returned to AHACPA before CPE certificates will be issued.

Refunds & Cancellations

All cancellation requests must be received in writing (email or fax is fine).

Webinars: All cancellation requests must be received via email ([email protected]). Registration fees are fully refundable provided the request is received a minimum of 24 hours prior to the course start time. Individuals cancelling less than 24 hours prior to the course start time will not receive a refund, but will be provided access to the course materials and the recorded version of the course. CPE/Attendance credit is not provided for watching the recording.
In-Person Courses: Registration fees are fully refundable provided the request is received at least three weeks prior to the course. Requests received after this date, but one week before the course will receive a refund less an administration fee of $100. Due to financial obligations incurred by AHACPA, no refunds will be issued for cancellation requests received less than a week before the course.

In the unlikely Course that AHACPA must cancel a course, all registrations fees paid to AHACPA by attendees will be refunded in full.

Complaint Resolution

AHA Services, Inc. dba AHACPA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.
