Les,
I processed a handful of 30-day extension requests this week and all of them worked except for one.  I selected the property and the type of submission and hit continue. I received an error message stating that an error has been encountered while selecting from the database, with an error condition code of E99.  I have tried each day since Monday with no luck so I called the technical assistance center today and the gentleman i spoke with said the system is “bogged down” and I should try again.  They sent me the ticket closed email that said the WASS server is currently unavailable, advised customer to check later.   I find it strange that I had a problem with only one submission request.  Just wondering if you have seen this error code before.  I need to file the extension as the AFS will not be filed within the 10-day grace period.

I checked with Kathy. She has had error codes before. She is not sure of it was E99. However, when she returned to the system, it had processed the request. We have no experience with the code noted as we have never really paid attention to the codes.  If you try today does it work?

 

Frankly, nothing worked in the last two days. WE only processed 100 submissions in the last 24 hours.

Les,
Thanks for getting back to me.  I have tried to submit the extension request every day since Monday 3/28 with no luck.  I try all times of the day from 7am to 10pm eastern time and it does not matter. I will have to call them up again and hope I get a better rep that will listen to me and not just say the system is bogged down.
