Mandy Merchant is a Principal at CLA and the national leader for the housing authority industry within the firm. With over 20 years of experience, Mandy specializes in auditing, accounting, and consulting services for housing authorities, housing finance agencies, and HUD-assisted properties. Her industry involvement includes memberships in the National Council of State Housing Finance Agencies, the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials, and the Affordable Housing Association of Certified Public Accountants. Mandy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and is a registered Oregon Municipal Auditor. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Salisbury University and is a licensed CPA in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Oregon. Mandy also serves on the boards of the Inwood Housing Development Corporation and the Braddock Carnegie Public Library.
