Financial Assessment Subsystem-Public Housing (FASS-PH) Unique Entity Identifier Update 2022 System Release
Effective April 2022, the Federal government will stop using Data Universal Number System (DUNS) number to uniquely identify entities. Entities doing business with the federal government will use a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number created on the System of Award Management (SAM) website at www.SAM.gov. The UEI number is mandatory for all financial submissions beginning with fiscal year end 3/31/2022.
Current www.SAM.gov registrants have already been assigned their Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and can view it within SAM.gov. For more information on how to view your Unique Entity Identifier go to this article.
